Customer Service, Critical in Affiliate Marketing? Yes!

Time to get something off my chest. Here it goes I'm coming to the forefront and stepping up to the plate. I have done affiliate marketing for the last 9 months and there's one thing that really came to my attention and that is the lack of customer service. I have seen the same product presentations over and over, same format, same countdown, and it frustrates me. What happened to being innovative and caring about the customer. Almost every affiliate marketing business opportunity offer out there is hype, filled with bad actors, broken promises and are just plain garbage. There is a reason that 97 percent of affiliate marketers fail and I think the biggest problem is the information they are given. I compare it to car salesmen and how did they got their bad reputation, they took advantage of people. Something needs done about it. The writing is on the wall and people are savvy to the snakes out there.

Customer service is important to an organization because it is often the only contact a customer has with a company. Customers are vital to an organization. Some customers spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars per year with a company. Consequently, when they have a question or product issue, they expect a company's customer service department to resolve their issues.

Customer Service

Customer service is one thing we should never forget.

There's no such thing as a push button, money-making invention out there that you do not have to put any effort into.  If there is, I would love to see it. Hooking people, who out of desperation go out and by these products and fail, is wrong. Whenever you go set out on a venture it's going to take hard work finding the right offer and/or finding a niche you're comfortable In. I believe that with being an Elite marketer come the responsibility of taking care of your clients or having someone in your place doing so. I quit my job because I wanted more time with my family and I've come to realize that I work more now then I ever did before. Do I like what I'm doing, the answer is yes, but certain aspects I do not like. I want to change the landscape of the industry, I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel, I'm trying to repair it.There are a lot of bad marketing techniques used in selling products, emailing, etc.

If you promise to give training in your capture page, then give the customer what they signed up for.  If your  sincere goal is to try help them succeed in this business then do so. You might not make all the right decisions, but surely try to make the best decision with your customers best interest in mind. Like any profession you're going to have some set backs,  failures and your miss Q's, but one thing I learned when I was working in retail is, if you put yourself in the customer shoes, focus on customer service and treat them right, you'll profit more in the long run.

Final Question: How do you rate yourself as far as customer service?

What is the Secret to Success? Focusing on your Goals

“If you keep doing the same thing, you will keep getting the same result”. So the question is what is the secret to success?

The Secret to Success is You

Ok, you have been at this Marketing thing for some time, a few sales here and there, but your lacking consistency. The internet is an amazing tool but it can also be very misleading when it comes to information. You know that feeling, your mind is going a mile a minute and you just can seem to pull things together mentally. This same feeling happened to me, I had to take a step back and put everything into prospective. What was working and what wasn't. Now this process isn't always a quick task to do and really requires you to put the computer down and get out the drawing board. Like anything most people jump in the water not knowing how deep it is and start panicking because they feel overwhelmed and feel as if they are drowning. Take time to think back why you began this attempt and the goal you set out to carry out. Now if that goal was to make millions of dollars with an amazing push button secret tool that sounds too good to be true it 99.9% is just that. Growth is a day by day thing, training, planning, and decision-making. Here are some questions you may want to ask yourself when you're in this situation.

  1. What tools do I have to get started?
  2. What is my first task at hand?
  3. Is my goal reachable in my timetable and if not how do I reassess it?
  4. Do I have the resources for it monetarily?
  5. How do I get the resources?
  6. What is my vision plan, where do you see yourself in 6 months?

These are all questions that can be answered and accomplished but with pin point planning and dedication. A recommendation is a vision board. Keep this in your office, bedroom, or anywhere ever you feel you will see it the most. Write down every answer and then get to work. The goal is to keep your eye on the prize and carry out your dream. The vision board is not a daily planner, it is a goal reminder, a daily motivator to remind yourself of what you set out to do.

So in closing, instead of jumping in the water without first analyzing the conditions, have some Due diligence and plan your attack. Same thing goes for your business, now let's see what you have inside and make it happen!

Never Give Up On Yourself, Even At Your Lowest Points

To Give up on something is so easy to do. There are those days where you feel like all is lost… Nothing is going right and the weight of the world is pushing you to your knees. I feel we all have been there when it comes to owning your own business, you feel stuck.

Never Give Up

Now here's the beauty of it, when you feel as if everything is up against you take the time to get on your knees and pray. There is something much bigger then we can fathom that is in our corner and we attempt to do everything on our own. God plays a vital part in our lives and in times of struggle we reach out to him, and that's great. Consider this though, when things are going well reach out the same way to him. I sincerely believe the hardest times I have had I tried to do on my own, without him. I go through seasons and forget the blessings I have and wonder why things are in such disarray.

God is there for you but you must recognize that and in the long run he will bless your journey. I love hearing how people step out of their comfort zone to pursue a new venture, the excitement in their eyes, but after some time it seems to wither away. Include God in your daily life and see what happens, I think you'll be surprised how big he really is:)

Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

Romans 12:2 NIV Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.

I Thessalonians 5:16-19 NIV Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances; this is the will of God for your life.

II Corinthians 9:8 NIV And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

May God bless you on your journey through the good times and the bad, and may you praise him for all he has provided. So many of us look up the ladder of success and wonder why we are not there yet, look down the ladder and see what you do have.

Keeping Focus on your Goals, Are You approaching them with Clarity and Drive?

Myself (left) with my mentor and great friend Bob Beckett

Myself (left) with my mentor and great friend Bob Beckett

When getting my feet wet in Affiliate/Internet Marketing there where so many times I got frustrated with myself because I was getting overwhelmed. 2 or 3 months went by and it seemed like i was going 2 steps forward and 5 steps backwards. Now keep in mind, I am blessed to have a wonderful Mentor in this process, but I really did not take heed to what he said a lot of the time. Now with that came frustration and finger pointing on my part. I never really have been the best at taking direction in the first place. Have you ever heard of the “Always Right” syndrome? Yes, I have suffered with that through out my later years in life.

So, with having a mentor, the tools that God had given to me, and the heart I know I have inside why is nothing working?

Taking a step back and brushing away all the outside garbage I was putting on my shoulders it all came to me. I lacked clarity. Clarity is power, If you know what your going for you will get it. I have to give Tony Robbins credit for that one but it is so true. From the start my mentor said to train your mind in the morning, read, listen or watch video on someone successful,I was not doing so. I was lacking discipline when it came to listening to his direction.

Then one day it was like an epiphany , hit me right between the eyes. Sometimes we point the finger at someone else because we are not successful, when we should be really looking at ourselves. I was the problem.

Clarity is key to anyone getting from point A to point B. If you don't know what your true goal is then you won't achieve it. No matter what great idea or invention created out there they all started with a vision. You need to not put limits on yourself or your dreams, because once you do that your vision has boundaries.

So in closing, If there is something that you are very passionate about and you have the drive to make it a reality there really is nothing stopping you except yourself. You sometimes need to do a gut check to realize that, but that is all part of the process of growing and becoming better. Take your vision and run with it with clarity and drive, but listen and take heed to people who have already been to the top of the mountain, it will make your journey so much more rewarding!

I am Privileged to Serve You

So many times as an Internet marketer we find ourselves working harder and not smarter. The tools are out there and it is our job to supply our subscribers with the best ones. With that being said I want to promise you straight forward offers and answer any questions you may have about this type of venture.

We are approaching 2013 very quickly and a lot of people want that financial freedom and flexibility that so many internet marketers talk about. My goal is to get you the right answers, and if I don't have them then I will find out from someone who does.

It's not Rocket science, it is attainable, but I can tell you from personal experience it is not a cake walk. You have to take risks, calculated risks that you are comfortable with. Here are a few things that I struggled with when I first began my venture…myprofile

1. Building a list – basically traffic you can send out offers to and live up to the promise when they handed over their personal information. So many marketers get in the habit of trying to pull the wool over a subscribers eyes with gimmicky emails, horrible offers that promise amazing riches in a short period of time, and they lose the trust of the customer. As an Internet marketer we need to get rid of that car salesman mindset and consider our subscribers financial state and how can we really benefit them.

2. Finding the right affiliate that works for you is key, not one that is going to put you thru the ringer and not take care of you when you do sell their product. I am very confident that not every affiliate is crooked, so put that in your mind.

3. Constantly post on your blog, or website. Make the information informative, because that is good business. I am extremely willing to help anyone out that wants to help  themselves.

So I will close by telling you as a subscriber or a possible subscriber, I am Privileged to Serve You.
