Twitter Post Optimization

Twitter Post Optimization Like a Boss – Tools and Trends

So you ask, how can I optimize my Twitter posts?

There are a few things that you need to tweak in your twitter game plan to accomplish Twitter-euphoria.

Lets start off with some really interesting stats that can bump up your tweet one step at a time.

  • To have a picture or not? Strange but true, people love visuals. So including a picture within your tweet will most likely get you 2 times the engagement!

So yes, it is a smart plan of action to post a picture relating to your tweet.

140 Characters or Bust?

Should you try to max out all 140 characters? Believe it or not, the answer is: No

This is another stat that was similar for Facebook.  On both platforms. If you’re posting tweets with links, Dan Zarrella’s study results shows that 120–130 characters will be your sweet spot.

Retweet Blues: If you don't ask than don't expect it to happen

You know what happens when you assume, right? I always thought it would turn people off to ask for a Retweet, that is far from the case. The Retweet rate is 23X higher if you spell out the word “Retweet”.  That doesn't seem overly difficult.

Hashtag Overkill!

I was using 4 – 5 hashtags in my tweets at one point thinking the more the merrier! Not a good idea.

How many hashtags is enough? Great question! I have heard the more hashtags the better, but that is not true. If you stick with 1 to 2 optimized hashtags you have a 21% chance of higher engagement compared to peppering your tweet with 3 or more hashtags.

RiteTag – Optimize your Twitter Posts Like a Boss

RiteTag Tag Optimizer is a totally crusher way to increase the reach of your Twitter posts.

We all use hash tags, but how far will that hashtag take your twitter post?

With RiteTag you can see each and every hashtags metrics, it's a pretty sick concept.

RiteTag facilitates the hashtag optimization of your past, present and future tweets

  1. Past: In Audit, recent tweets are loaded, hashtag-analyzed and alternative hashtags are suggested. Audit pulls up all the user’s recent tweets, not only those scheduled with RiteTag.
  2. Present: With Hashtag Optimizer, and when using the browser extensions, users hashtag-optimize and tweet, manually schedule or auto-schedule tweets, using Suggestions, Top-performing and Tag Sets.
  3. Future: Load a text file into Audit and hashtag-optimize multiple tweets before scheduling them. This is a great way to stock a Twitter account with several days worth of tweets – for yourself or a client.

With RiteTag Tag Optimizer you basically have a Twitter Hashtag expert at your finger tips that can…

Check the overall strength of your hashtags like a boss!

Grab & optimize Tweets from various sources and schedule them like a boss!

Tweet it once and be done?

definitely not the case. There are so many different ways you can format a tweet differently and still send it to the same content. The biggest thing you have to consider is your tweet may get over looked the first time. This makes it clear that you want to tweet out the same link but just switch it up a bit.

Post your content more than once but make each tweet unique. Just because you posted something once, it may have been overlooked. A few ways you can do this is by changing the verbiage and the hashtags if needed. It really isn't that difficult.

I also use Hootsuite to schedule out my Twitter posts. It is a simple yet effective tool to manage your tweets and keep an eye on the metrics.

I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s equally educative and engaging, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The issue is something that too few men and women are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy I came across this during my hunt for something concerning this.

Hey there! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Hi Cherie! I actually do use WordPress for my blog but have taken certain steps to make sure it does not get hacked. Unfortunately there are numerous ways these guys can hack your site. If you want I can take a look at your site and see what could be the problem. Please let me know:)
