Having Patience When Things Seem To Be Falling Apart
Having patience is key when it comes to growing your business, and unfortunately a lot of entrepreneurs do not possess that quality.
As soon as you crack your eyes in the morning, your world starts moving. You need to be ready to make patience a priority.
Having Patience takes practice
Have patience with all things, but first have patience with yourself. – St. Francis de Sales
We all know that taking practice, Preparing yourself each day to first and foremost make yourself a priority when giving patience, grace, and forgiveness.
Each day brings its new challenges, whether in your marriage, kids, job, friends, etc.… and acknowledging that we still have the need to learn new things as we grow older. That can bring frustration, anger, and other things. Practice that patience with yourself, and the rest should fall into place.
BE READY FOR THE CURVEBALL.
Life never goes quite the way we plan. That is a fact. We can plan our day down to the last minute all we want, but there are times when life throws us a curveball or 5!!
This is where practice makes perfect. We all want life to be rainbows and unicorns, and sometimes the rain just never seems to stop. Making time to take a step back and analyze the situation can make or break us. By maintaining your “practice,” some days will seem better than others.
BE PREPARED to be patient in all things
Tolerance, forgiveness, and understanding work wonders. Understanding that things do not happen overnight when it comes to jobs, trying to get a business off the ground, whatever your world is going around. Be prepared to take control of your situation. Do not let it control you. This takes practice…lots of it. Learning something new and doing it well takes time and, you guessed it… PATIENCE. Be prepared to be patient!
LEMON AND SUGAR
When those two ingredients are separated, they can be very bitter and way too sweet. Still, when put together, they make something delicious. Putting patience into your life every day, when added to the bitter things, makes life pretty sweet. One day at a time, one moment as it comes, and practicing patience with yourself first and foremost! Now enjoy your Lemonade!
Adopt the pace of nature. Her secret is patience. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Being patient as a Christian entrepreneur
Many of you know that I am a Christian, so when things seem to be falling apart, I consider it a storm or a season. I have learned in these times that God is trying to teach me something, and I must rely on him. When I do that, it makes a world of difference.
Some of my favorite scripture is about patience.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12
But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Romans 8:25
The next scripture is so powerful because, as an entrepreneur, it's hard to be still when it comes to your thoughts; we always are thinking.
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”Exodus 14:14
You must realize that things will go haywire as an entrepreneur and overall human being. You will feel that you may have lost control. In these times, you need to take a step back and be patient with the process.
Always remember, Stay Hungry.
